Busan City and the Film Center (CEO Chu Chu -sung) announced on the 22nd that we are promoting the Busan Metropolitan City Regeneration Support Center, Busan International Film Festival and the Village Movie Project as part of the UNESCO Film Creative City Busan. It is designed to expand and spread the sustainable growth value of the city through movies. The villagers play a leading role in the entire process of film production, from writing scenarios, shooting, editing, and acting.
The activities of the village film production team, which consists of general participants interested in producing village films, are from July to October. It will be screened at Busan Week, the 26th Busan International Film Festival Community Beef and UNESCO Film Creative City in December. In addition, there will also be a making documentary that contains all the progress of the village residents. Meanwhile, Busan was designated as the first film creative city in Asia in 2014 and has been a UNESCO Creative City Network (UCCN) vice -chairman.
